How To Avoid Expensive Pool Repairs Giving you the customer what you want is our main goal next to providing our best pool repair and renovation service. An example of this is providing info on properly caring for your pool and avoiding major pool repairs, which can save you money down the line.
Taking care of your pools plaster, is the number one thing you want to do to pro long your pools life. Most people wouldn't think that ( BRUSHING) their pool is the number one priority. The truth is, that brushing is the number one thing to avoid paying for a costly pool repair involving plaster or tile. By brushing your pool 4 to 5 times a week you are scrubbing the sediments that build up along the walls of your pools. These sediments will start stripping and destroying the protective coat of plaster. This coat was applied during the trawling process of either your original pool build or the pool repair and re-plastering last done. Even though, you can not see this layer, it in fact does exist. This layer of plaster is the layer that blocks all chemicals and sediments from penetrating through to the back side of the plaster. If some of these sediments or chemicals reach the back side of your plaster it can cause the plaster to become week by dissolving the plaster which leads to needing a major pool repair or complete re-plastering. This happens because this degradation of plater creates: cracks, hollows, and de-lamination. Look on our Pool Repair page for pictures.
